If Biden had stiffened his spine against the Israeli lobby and stopped supporting Netanyahu politically, maybe Bibi would be in prison and Israel would have stopped razing Gaza and their own standing in the world along with it.

100% - but he also never suggested that the US should turn Gaza into the new Las Vegas so is still leagues better.

I totally agree that the democrats were weak on Gaza but with Israel being their main access to military dominance in the region, what were they expecting?
At some point, people have to put their big boy pants on and vote on more than a single issue. Especially in a two party system where the other side is full of openly fascist maniacs.
