  • Regarding Premium Bonds

    https://www.moneysavingexpert.com/savings/premium-bonds/
Sounds safe, but also, shitter than leaving in a bank on average, unless you've already maxed out other saving options (PSA)

What you'll win over a year with average luck, based on the 4% rate
Amount saved in bonds Median average winnings Equivalent prize rate
    £100 Nothing 0%
    £1,000 Nothing 0%
    £10,000 £325 3.25%
    £25,000 £850 3.4%
    £50,000 £1,750 3.5%

"If you won't earn over the personal savings allowance, and have average luck, Premium Bonds are unlikely to beat top savings"

Do pension earnings count in the PSA? Shirely not?

    No, they do not.

  • No. Nor isa's.
If you haven't got an isa for this year, that is the no brainer. Trading 212 will give you about 5% tax free.
