I mean, that's just not enforceable so seems silly to me.
My point is for "other events" that are not audax that could be ridden as an audax - I just want the "yes/no you can/can't DIY it" applied equally. I don't give a shit if someone gets a tow from a rider that's in out our shake it all about of the event.

One of the senior AUK bods has recently declared the "no drafting non-audax riders" rule means you can't DIY any ride where there are other participants you could potentially draft, despite no one else having ever interpreted it that way before.
Local DIY organisers of course don't know or don't care.
