I'm not really sure this is possible.
One downside of moving out of London is that you need a car for everything. Unless you moved to Hove maybe.

I’m just outside Brighton; ten min ride in to town (with wind on your back), few min walk to beach, have the downs at the end of my road. It’s quite nice down here. I personally couldn’t do the commute in to London but lots and lots of people do.
Incidentally our 2 bed flat in Hove might be available to rent in a few months as our tenants mentioned they want to leave in spring. Should you want to rent down this way drop me a pm

I'm house hunting at the moment and getting completely ground down looking for somewhere in London, to the point that the idea of moving out is appealing.
I've just got no idea where. I'd love to move to Brighton but the slight reduction in rent for comparable places would be offset by the cost to get into the office (even if I were to convince work to allow me to work from home 4 days a week, rather than 2).
Where is within reach of Stratford, nice and cheap enough to justify the move? As much green space as possible without being in the middle of nowhere and requiring a car.
