Knauff do an insulated plaster board that is 27mm thick.
That's exactly what we used the other week to do the back of a fitted wardrobe that is on an external wall. It still left enough room for the wardrobe to be usable.
Thought about doing the other wall, which doesn't have any sockets on it so would be reasonably straightforward, but the enormity of trimming back the fitted carpet made me hesitate.

Knauff do an insulated plaster board that is 27mm thick. We bought ours from Wickes. We used loads of it to insulate three internal walls fully. Simple glue onto the old plaster board, then plaster over that , made a massive difference .
