Fire assessor responsible for doing external wall assessments on many high rise blocks of flats following the Grenfell tragedy gets suspended, and is accused of fraudulently using a colleague's signature to continue signing off buildings.
I'd heard about this through the grapevine as I've been wanting to sell a flat in a block above 18m for a few years now. Thankfully we didn't use this company, but apparently most of the blocks in our area did use them and sales are now falling through because of it.
The scandal goes on ... I'm at least pleased that this has made the front page of BBC news today.
