I loved The Wasp Factory when I read it years ago. The Bridge is my favourite of his. The rest of the stuff I've read under "Iain Banks" (rather than Iain M Banks) is all quite blokey and shit which is a shame. I've never got on with his sci fi really. The Player Of Games is alright but Consider Phlebuas and The Use Of Weapons I didn't care for so didn't dig any deeper.

Read The Wasp Factory purely from Banks mention above and having heard about it here and there over the years. What a ride! Couldn’t put it down.
I’m reading Power of the Dog at the moment which is good but not yet a page turner.
