    At least the founder has cojones to come in the comments and explain why it happened etc.

    Finding it hard to triangulate exactly what to get - its between this or a Copper Spur (I think) although don't love the 'bikepacking specific' features of that one. I want freestanding and no trekking poles.

    If anyone has a better idea I would love to hear it. Its for torino-nice in July plus occasional UK trips (not winter realistically).

    It doesn't seem unprecedented strength for an ultra light tent, a pyramid would be fine in those conditions and lighter.

    I think it's a great looking tent, just use it in its window of use, which I think your trips would be well within. Id rather have the xdome than a BA, but I like small brands and their often better customer service and quality. Id buy a xdome if I were you. But I don't think it's perhaps the right tent for me.
