Agree with Hugo about the historical context being one of the best things about Peaky Blinders so far.
He's right on that, and also that the last couple of series were a bit shit - and that was partly because they overplayed the historical context with some nonsensical stuff about the BUF and Moseley. Also, they went for a more stylised approach which was embarrassingly done.
The slow-mo smoke walk literally made me turn off S6E2 (or whatever it was) and never bother watching it again. Which is a shame as I did want to finish it.
