The appeal of the thermoblock is that it heats a lot less water for a lot less time than a conventional machine.
But if they’re all shit- plan b.
Surely something like a Robot, and heating the water separately will give better results per energy unit? (Conjecture..)
Or even use one of those 9bar stovetop ones (but I thought Dammit had already tried one of those previously).
Definitely seems like boiling the water on the gas hob would be the easiest way round.
