Coffee sifter is a success, been using it all week and I'm much happier with my brew now.

Will be trying out my coffee distribution dosing ring thingy with the Gaggia this weekend, fuck knows how it's supposed to work but see how we go.

Mine needed a bit of tape to shim the handle to lid gap. Learnt the hard way, grounds everywhere. Also, needs to be raised off the portafilter a bit to drop the grounds nicely. Hope it works well for you!

Thanks for the tip. What do you do after you've got the grounds in the portafilter, tamp straight away? I haven't researched how to use this thing at all, it popped up as a suggested item when I bought the fines sifter/sieve and it was cheap enough to grab without thinking.
