prev gen Mac Mini? refurb M2 mini for £300 seems a decent way to get it all under £500
then buy the monitor I'm selling and pass on a work supplier one as a hand-me-down? :D

Mac mini would be the way to go, cheap monitor and keyboard off of here and away you go. Could get that one that @photoben is selling for £450

Help me out here - bedroom mac for teenage kid.
Would like monitor and keyboard.
Does not need to be HUGE grunt right now, just needs to be able to handle online learning/calls/interwebs/etc.
What am I looking at and if it comes in <£500 that would be gr9.
