God I love MK1 MX5.

By now are the majority of them rust free as they've all been welded up, or this wishful thinking?

How many have had proper repairs, if it was the cills, removing the outer, probably the middle and then the inner? Time and labour wise many many just had patches over the rusty bits. How many were correctly braced before the cutting and welding?

Apparently they rust from the inside out? Doesn't surprise me for a Jap car tbh, as most Civics are bad for this.

My friend had a mk1 he purchased off an old lady in the village he grew up in when we were about 16 for what I remember to be around £300. It was mint...
