The thing you've got to remember with Jacob Rees-Mogg is that he is new money. He wants to be upper class but his family has very little history, so he is looked down upon by people with much less money but more family history.
His wife is far more "landed gentry" than he can ever be.
You can be worth £150m but that counts for fuck all amongst the upper class if your great-great-great-great-grandfather wasn't a Baronet/etc.
