And as Starling's CRN isn't mentioned in the T&Cs, I wonder if a change of name at Companies House would to, say, Pigeon Cycles, would prove a potential workaround if they're really struggling in 7 years (not to mention T&C No. 8 of course)... Great bit of marketing though.

    It seems that if you're not one of the first ten then the code won't work. So you'd know you missed out that way.

    I imagine that's the point of it. Get people to buy and hopefully generate a few extra sales on the basis that people think they might be getting it for free.

    SImilar to flexispot's first 30 purchases after midnight will get refunded.

  • It’s all about the headline. I think it’s genuinely brilliant. When I worked in the shop we did a free service offer, that as impossible to get, but everybody knew there was about 0.1% chance of getting it.
