You can totally do that yourself. Have you bought the catches yet? This type only need a hole drilled in the edge of the door

Could someone recommend a carpenter for east? I have brand new doors (no hardware ever fitted) I've finally got round to varnishing and hanging, but don't have the confidence to fit the catches
