Culture is interesting but very worthy fine dining.
Verdant fish bar is tasty but small and gets incredibly busy
Likewise MINE is very small but excellent food
Star and Garter was a pub trying very hard to be more
Seaview Inn will supposedly do a pint of Bass and is a local’s choice drinking place
Pizza (and beer) at Verdant tap room in Penryn is good. Perfectly walkable from Falmouth
Good Vibes cafe did a good breakfast
A hidden gem is Provedore. Was doing breakfast/lunch but now seems to be evening small plates. The cooking was excellent.

I'm heading to Cornwall for new year and would like to book something a bit special to celebrate. Not looking new years eve, but either side.
Any recommendations welcome, will be near to Falmouth but have a car with us, so can travel.
