Barbican seating areas are great but the beer is Heinekraft, so not ideal. I'd be tempted to go to the Sutton Arms on Great Sutton Street. Plenty of tables at which to play games, but the seating isn't particularly comfy. Sekforde Arms in that area is OK too.
