Yep - both the bike shed and the garden room have loving roofs. Without drainage, they'd turn into living ponds.
As long as there's a reasonable fall (3° - 5° iirc), they do well. The reservoir cells below the substrate take care of the rest.
The bike shed was a bit half-arse, using just a waterproof sheet. The office used rubber, glue, and all that jazz.
