I’m not convinced we are stuck in a two party system anymore. Both the LibDems, and to a lesser extent, Labour showed at the last election how effective targeting your resources on winnable seats can be. If you have 4 or 5 parties all consistently polling in the twenties and teens then the electoral system will have to reflect that eventually, and voters have shown they can adapt to this change in the most recent election.

Unfortunately, we're stuck with a 2 party system. This means that one party needs to oppose and holds the govt of the day to account. The Tories left the reality based community a long time ago. This means that there is a vacuum at present. Let's hope other parties have the desire to step up and serve democracy.
