That GS is lovely though. I've been searching for a GS estate down here for a project. Found a blue pallas for $1000 aud but it needs double that in hours to get it running. They are getting rare!
There's also this which is tempting, however I have no garage to put it in.

Look you don't have to fit xvs, if anything don't as modern tread patterns are better.
Exhaust, let's look at the shapes, if it can be made from parts.
The suspension and brakes need a lhm refresh at the least, hydracage at the worst. Then spheres, pleadies have that sorted and changing is easy. The suspension units can they be rebuilt? The hydraulic pipes tho steel can be remade and Sykes picavant make the ends moulding.
Do these need an octopus pipe like the bx, as I can't remember. Tho did repair rubber pipes with joints and clips as they are low pressure.
Major service is something you are going to do anyway in a new to you car.
You are talking yourself out of this. Will you be doing the work or paying someone?
At least there isn't and welding.
