I was using the peak water filters for a while but in the end the improvement in taste wasn't worth the the faff imo, just dealt with the destruction of my kettle. I'd be a bit more protective of a Moccamaster.

Yeah, interested to see where the chat goes on this, we're in the process of buying a house and having a brand new kitchen fitted so probably should have sorted it then but they seem pretty straight forward to fit at any point.
I’ve got a prefect little setup where I could easily have a small tap on the back wall of this niche to fill the MM, Arke and kettle. Just have to get around to doing it, and pick a filter from the million options online
