Took my first foray into tubeless yesterday - I feel like I got lucky in terms of setting up so it would be good for the hive mind to validate this so I know for next time!
wheels - Hunt aero wide with pre-installed rim tape
valves - Hunt
tyres - Schwalbe G-One all round
sealant - Stans
Method was to hang the wheel and get the tyre on one side, added sealant and got the rest of the tyre on. I then pumped (not as furiously as I intended) with a track pump and nothing happened. I then span the tyre a little then pumped again and the tyre started inflating!
I repeated this for the rear tyre and after a little fettling of the tyre it also inflated - and stayed inflated all afternoon. I took it for a 17 mile gravelly/hard mud ride last night and no punctures - I dropped the pressure a bit as well and it felt so comfortable. The tyres were still inflated this AM so I think i'm done.
Next will be to convert a set of Campag Zonda 2-way fits to run tubeless for road.
