    Ffs visiting the orange idiot was clearly not a right or wrong thing. It was clearly done because Farage thought he could get some (air) mileage out of it.

  • He missed a trick. He could have just used his "diamond geezer" schtick and said "i'm just here to support a mate who needed my help" and many would have accepted that. "it was the right thing to do" sounds like a politicians answer.

    He's there to court people in the US and that is all.

    He must be making a ton of money out of it somehow. Is it OK to have undeclared income from foreign politicians when you're supposed to be working for your constituents?

    It's interesting that he presented the trip as a gesture of friendship. With Trump being a narcissist and psychopath, all his friendships are transactional and have nothing to do with affection or loyalty. So it's safe to assume that money is involved. But there are so many ways to funnel it indirectly...it would be easy to hide.
