I like dt swiss 350 hubs (the branding used to be a sticker that could be removed, not quite sure about newest versions), solid, very low maintenance.
Change the rackets from 36t to 18t for a nice low noise hub.
Edit: There is a 35mm deep aluminium rim under different names that I have not tried myself (expensive...)
