Hiking, Scrambling, Mountaineering, and Climbing

Gotcha. Looking back at the map and the flights my friends had, I think I would have been fine if I had made a beeline for the valley. But I hung a bit around the launch site hoping to gain some height, and instead sunk just enough to get in the turbulent air.
