Which size of these grips do you have?
Which size are your gloves (to indicate the size of you hands).
I have the same grips on several bikes, cannot recall that I have noticed what you describe.
(large grips and XL gloves) -
This is normal for my XXL gloved hands on those grips.
I find them incredibly comfortable.

GP1 are recommended for bars with 30deg backsweep or less. GC1 are recommended for bars with more. Sounds like your setup might be better suited to the GC1

I have a pair of these Ergon gp1 grips and when I'm riding the outside of the palm of my hand is resting on the plastic bit with the bolt.
Is this normal or are my hands too big for these grips or so?
