Have been heeding some of your advice, the road bike will most definitely get the axe in the next week or so. But, have started getting garvel biek alive again as I should now maybe have some more time and better weather to get out on it again. Will give me better perspective on whether to get rid or not. The wheels have got some fresh tape, valves, and sealant, was actually very unproblematic, good stuff. The bike shop is gonna have to see to the slightly seized on rear hub and the hydraulic brakes cos I do not have the facilities (mental, physical, nor technological) for that shit.
And more exciting yet! Slapped a crate from some fancy schmancy cheese we’ve got in at work on to the front rack on the fixie today at the end of my shift. Functionality with a middle class twist.
