I've still never been to Mildred's, which I need to remedy soon! I think it might be a bit too "vegan" for my step dad though. He's quite fussy and will only eat vegan if forced or tricked, haha.

Then Mildred's would be ideal for him. I think its success is partly due to catering for people precisely like your stepdad.

Maybe I'll run it by him! The meal is part of his Christmas present though so I'd rather go for something he'll really enjoy, rather than tolerate.
