A retro-styled rim, in modern drilling, with exotic coating is a tough ask!
Kinlin ADHN are cheaper than TB14, but don’t think they come in 24h (no doubt Kinlin would make some if you ordered in bulk!). XR-22T in disc flavour are likely the only thing close.
Shallower/box rims often have more flex than modern/deeper equivalents, another reason why you tend to find them only in higher spoke counts. You mind find views upthread on whether the 22 can stand up to 24h disc.

Hey, I'm looking for some rims to build a new set of disc road wheels. The hubs I have are 24h.
I'm looking for a box section rim similar to a TB14 anodised (which I don't think they make in 24h). The wheels are for disc but I don't mind using rim brake rims. I'm going for a retro sort of look so very shallow rims, but the braking surface must match the rim - so not a silver braking surface and black rim. And I'm not wanting a 100% silver rim, anodised grey/black or ceramic would be perfect.
Anyone know of anything that sort of matches?
