I know nothing about treadmills but...
When I can't get out of the house I hop on the turbo and do some Zwift. I think if you're still getting the runs in outside the turbo can keep your aerobic fitness ticking over with very little impact. So if you can do your easy stuff done on the turbo and still get out to run your sessions you can keep your fitness without splashing out on a treadmill.

5k for the wahoo one is a hard no! I was looking at Reebok sl8 at €1200 or Reebok jet300 at €1000 - both can do 20kmph (which I won’t do for any extended period of time but have lofty ambitions for speed work and want to future proof myself).
The nordictrack 1750 seems to be the gold standard for home use, but they’re about €2500, though there is a used one nearby for €1000. He says it was bought in 2021 and has been serviced twice. Are treadmills safe enough to buy used or better to go new if you can?
