But seriously, I started to worry about this less when I realised language is constantly evolving and we literally make things mean what we mean by saying them in a given context. "Literally", now literally means its opposite, depending on context, its part of the complexity and colour of speech, and I wish less people would bang on about it. Although perhaps the banging on is also part of the colour of speech. I'm out

"Fewest" if you want to be a less/fewer dick, but then you would avoid the superlative form in a comparison of only two cases, so you'd be back to "fewer".
In brain holes there is a countable number of voids and an uncountable total void volume. One gaping chasm where the brain should be is fewer holes than twenty tiny voids, but maybe the guy with twenty tiny voids has less holes.
