No gracias, I have no idea how we’ll readjust back to life in London (the idea of getting a job is not pleasant) but we’re both ready to come home and sleep in the same bed for consecutive nights.
About 3 or 4 months ago the novelty of being away and travelling plateaued. We’re still loving tour life but now it sits in balance with the thought of coming home and looking forward to everything we have back in London.
A never ending trip does not appeal, I think 18 months would have been the sweet spot for us.

Yeah, I understand. I did 4 months when I first got here and that was enough. As soon as someone said "come back for my birthday" I was like, that's all I need and I was only in western Europe, no altitude, no rough terrain. I mean, I've moved my goalposts now but I understand the desire for some consistency in life.

Ed! When you are back, we'll have to organise a beer and slideshow night where you can debrief us all on your travels.
It will probably stretch into a number of nights actually.
