Not at all, it’s a really good place for the most part.
Alex the builder is always generous with young plants, produce and his wife is a prolific jam maker. He just swipes all the poop as him and the boys are industrious and a little selfish. He has a medieval style push plough and he does a lot of the old boys plots each spring.Guy opposite me is only annoying as his plot is a bit of an eyesore and he’s allowed to get away with it. I’ve seen him maybe 3-4 times in 3 years on the plot so he really doesn’t affect me.
Aside from that everyone is no more odd/mad than any other mixed grouping of randoms.
My partner is levelling/formalising her sunbathing area this spring which will probably raise eyebrows(someone last year complained about her attire on the plot but the council sided with us saying there’s no dress code).
It’s an allotment site, it wouldn’t be the same without a little drama and gossip.

I’ve been saving a whole bunch of ganja seeds over the last year. Original plan was to scatter them near police stations, middle of roundabouts etc for the lols.
Might dump the lot on his plot instead.
I really want to annexe his plot as an orchard/root veg area. It’s wasted on him.
I presume he’s a retired council worker as no-one else on our site gets away with doing fuck all.
