Once on holiday I found a Nokia 3510 under my bed. I took it and sold it to a kid at school for a tenner. It didn't work because it had been blocked. I kept the money.

A fellow forumenger once foolishly informed me picture messages cost him a quid to receive while he was abroad on holiday.
He got quite annoyed after a while.

I just threw that exact phone away on Tuesday together with a load of old bar phones that progressively got smaller and smaller and smaller to the point where I could not believe my fat fingers could have ever operated the Nokia keyboard, then exact process reversed with iPhone style lumps getting bigger and bigger.

While looking for something in a draw I came across this "holiday phone" I used to take on holiday with another sim so no one from work could call me.
I feel like that really dates me. Having an iPhone, but living in a world where data roaming was so expensive you couldn't risk using it abroad, not needing the camera because you still had a digital camera, and being able to navigate your holiday without it.
