  • I have a pair of these and they are amazing wheels. My original rear hub cracked and was rebuilt by Zipp with the same rear hub, which means you can change the end caps for quick relaase and thru axle. The rims are designed for rim brakes, because of that they have a slightly thicker rim wall. Remember these were the wheels which Zipp spent years developing with Cancellara to cope with Paris-Roubaix. I’ve ridden the cobbles in Flanders on mine, with total confidence. They take wider tyres too as the rim is wide.
    If you aren’t bothered about running tubeless, (arguably latex inners are as fast and less faff) they are an awesome set of wheels and a bargain at £450.
