I ended up getting an all in one rain suit that goes over anything I'm wearing. So far it's been the best at keeping me dry but it's not the best look.

All in one might have been a more sensible choice to be honest but this one does look quite good I think...
I was planning to replace my Alpinestars Venture XT pants and Akinmoto Alpha 2.0 jacket with the newer Akinmoto Alpha 4.0 jacket and pants but I missed out on ordering on Black Friday and now they're out of stock on jackets at the moment.
The ones I have area actually perfect most of the time save for the torrential monsoon rain we've been getting in Ireland the last while and to be honest I'm not even super confident that the new kit would be able to keep me dry when it really lashes down so fingers crossed the rain suit over normal gear will get the job done!

Snazzy new rain suit on order (Fuel Motorcycles Rainer)... I figured it should prolong the life of my current riding gear which hasn't been entirely waterproof in major downpours and at €150 it's a fair bit cheaper than new gear even if it is a bit spendy for a rain suit.
