We've gone with (or are highly likely to go with) Babur, whose offerings seem to extend beyond curry (though tbf I'd be plenty happy with curry) - thanks a million you guys. Saved me a ton of stress figuring out what to do for food and costs are now slightly less astronomical than I was initially worrying about! And very much looking forward to the menu testing based on rave reviews here.

actually mimicing what @owl said; but I wish we had gone with a local lebanese/turkish/indian caterer. it would have been way tastier and cheaper than the specific wedding caterers we went with (who did put on mezzes for us). definitely something to look into
some people might be weird about 'having curry at a wedding' but i dont think it has to be exactly like that... without being racist (?) and placing all these cultures together but it is much more common for lebanese/indian weddings to have many hundreds (into the 1000s) of guests and therefore their catering offerings are significantly lower per head
