  • Has any one used the Panaracer Agilest? Very cheap on wiggle atm and reviews seem ok.

  • I have them on two bikes (1 tubed 1 tubeless), I got the second set because I liked the first ones. (fwiw tho I'm in Japan so the fact that they're relatively cheaper than other brands and readily available is also a big part of why I bought them)

I definitely rate them, specifically I think they're good value as they're about half the price of top end tires for me and much more than half the performance. There might be better options in other countries but if the Wiggle sale is good then it probably applies.
However they do a lot of what they do just by not having a lot of rubber or puncture protection (this is the simple reason they're so light, I also find they have a very pleasant "ride feel" which is presumably due to the same) so not sure if I'd want them on some UK roads. Also not sure about longevity, I'm not there yet but most reviews seem to say around 3000km before they need to be changed.
They did perform well the one time I've ridden them in the wet which might be a plus for UK winter.
