Frames are also as German as it gets?
They can be quite nice built up, radspannerei probably has one.

Everything bike related is so expensive in Germany. Maybe that's just Berlin though

Second hand definitely tends to be a bit "buy my used part for 10% less than retail, ok?". And definitely Berlin tax on stuff people think is hip.
