The mosque kitchen is absolutely great for very decent and very affordable feeds. It's not a 'luxuriate over a meal' vibe. But when the weather's been grim and you want a really tasty filling plate of good curry and bits for less than a tenner it's a godsend....

Heading up at the end of the month and looking for good curry options reasonably central (I'm staying near the National Museum of Scotland). Looks like beer and coffee recommendations have already been well covered above. Cheers.
