It’s more expensive and I don’t think I would really use it for reading because it’s so big. It doesn’t offer notes to text feature.
I went for the iPad bc at the time I couldn’t convince myself to spend the money on something which just does one thing (very well) so don’t think I will do that again.
(iPad is still useful and I already have a Kindle)

Had a bit of a read around these while procrastinating. What was it about the Scribe reviews that put you off?
The idea of a subscription for the Remarkable sounds a bit shit, but then it appears that's only if you want to edit later. And actually most of the time I'd only need to edit at the time, or immediately after.
Idk if it means anything, but I thought it was interesting looking on ebay and seeing the huge difference in used devices (basically no Scribes), but wonder if that's because a Scribe can (maybe) replace your kindle even if you don't use it for notes.
