Jokes aside, that's fucking terrifying.
I'm sure I'm not alone in being a hero in my own head when it comes to fighting off dogs, yet blithely unprepared for what it is actually like in real life.

I got my hand through its collar and twisted so hard I couldn’t feel my fingers properly two hours later. I had to use most of my weight to hold it down and stop it shaking Otto and breaking his neck. I had my arm locked out so couldn’t land a punch with the other fist, I managed to start kneeing it in the stomach. This all could have been 10 seconds it could have been a minute before it released him. We moved about 3meters across the road wrestling.
As soon as she let Otto go he jumped back in and bit the attacker.
