Hard to outrun a dog. You do not stand a chance running away from a big dog. It runs faster than you and as soon as you’ve got 40+ kg of dog on your back you don’t stand a chance. I ran away from a dogue de Bordeaux once and luckily had a wall to dive over to get away. It got me by the foot but if it wasn’t for the wall it would’ve fucking savaged me.
