On that subject, is there any easy way to ID what retina screen you have? The replacements online all list a load of model numbers but do I just pick whatever they say works for a mid-2017 13" retina with function keys (my personal one got knocked off a desk at work).
Just for completeness. Bought a screen for 180 quid off ebay and fitted it in about an hour following the instructions from ifixit (already had the relevant tools). Pretty straightforward job all things considered.
