I have screengrabs of a Virgin chat where I get more and more irate as my requests like “I want to cancel my broadband, do not ask me questions about my new postcode/property and why I’m leaving or offer me a new contract” were followed up with “ we are sad that you are leaving Virgin, please enter your new address and postcode for a new broadband contract”
Went a bit honey badger in the end but finally managed to leave. -

Is this kind of shit not dubious, if not punishable, in the eyes of Ofcom?
Virgin are such a shower of cunts. It took several days and multiple lengthy phone calls to get them to terminate my account after I switched to Community Fibre.

I think I managed to close my Virgin account, although it was a bit hard to tell, first I spoke to
a fast talking Indian person and then a Scottish person that was even harder to understand.
They have prepared scare stories about Community Fibre like they run all the neighbours through the same line and are not regulated by Ofcom, which somehow didn't stop Virgin from becoming shit.
