I would check the Apple Refurbished page - https://www.apple.com/uk/shop/refurbished/iphone
You're getting basically a new device for less with the same limited warranty and AppleCare option. I bought a lot of Apple refurbs and had zero issues.

Great shout, thank you! My brother-in-law works for Apple and I might be able to get hold of his family/friends discount, so a refurb 12 Mini would be £380.97...
Just checked the local shops and the sealed 11 I saw was actually £320... they definitely could be haggled down from experience with them but not sure it's worth saving £100
Thanks again all!

I'm looking to upgrade my old iPhone SE to something newer with significantly better cameras, but I'm struggling to make sense of how significant the differences are between the newer multi-lens iPhones is. The options (within my realistic budget) are:
iPhone 11 - brand new and sealed at my local dodgy-ish 'fone' shop for £350, and can probably be haggled down to £300
iPhone 12 Mini - much prefer the smaller form factor, probably £400 sealed off eBay
iPhone 13 Mini - same as above but more like £500 new
Use case is hiking/biking photos in all conditions for posting on socials and my website, which is why I'm moving away from a dedicated traditional camera. Looking for something new rather than refurbished so I can get on the Applecare train (cracked screen is a likely issue knowing me), but is the £100/£200 bump worth it to go up from the 11 to something newer?
Any views would be really appreciated - my first time buying a 'fancy' phone so struggling to decide how much to stretch to
