Apparently Colnago makes the C series in-house. The V series is sourced from Taiwan https://archive.ph/PyKkT

AFAIK they just glue the parts and paint the frames.
I don't see how things made in China is such a difficult pill to eat for some, Europe doesn't produce anything anymore.
