Ha, he is a bit shouty, but the volume button takes care of that. The pair of em don't seem overly hung up with the numbers, which is fine by me.
The Rotel gets good reviews, probably a little better built than Cambridge Audio (less plastic), not as far east looking as marantz and yamaha (obviously apart from the Japanese text on the badge), I stream off my tablet, and when the film warrants it, connect my tv. Bluetooth also helps with my slight cable phobia (bit OCD about being able to see them), so fewer cables makes me happier.

Cheers for the reply @Dogs
Even budget hifi gear has a pretty deep rabbit hole to peer down, I've decided to adjust the shelving, so current speakers will fit, then (probably sooner than later) I'm gonna get a nice budget set up, front runners at the moment are a Rotel A11 Tribute paired with Dali Spektor 2 speakers, using the built in Bluetooth DAC to start with.
Really looking forward to having another way of spending my wages ;)
Edit: rather enjoyed cheapaudioman and darko reviews, both offering reviews in language even I understand.
