Yeah, no I’m not for a moment thinking of buying them it’s just funny how one of the purposes of the strict specifications and licensing was that you could damage one speaker and swap it out for any other in a broadcast setting but in the private market most people would run a mile. Beyond that you now get people discussing the merits of one unicorn version over another when the whole purpose of the design was for them all to sound the same.
I’ve got some knock-offs and they sound amazing, I’ll stop at that.
